Has anyone stayed here recently?

From what I read there are plenty of places to walk to and places to eat around the property.

We are taking the Red Eye in pre cruise and land at 9AM wanted to drop the luggage and explore the area a bit pre cruise.

We have tickets to the Marlins game Friday night (my 7 year old is baseball obsessed) just looking for options for a couple of hours in the morning prior to our room being available.

We will be there the first week in June if that matters.

Thanks for any tips.

We stayed there in January. It was underwhelming and over priced.

Pro's: Location (with good restaurants nearby) and rooftop pool.

Con's: They have rooms with one King or two Doubles (not Queens).

The Parkview is a view of the service area and a building that is being renovated (read, construction noise). The park is behind that building.

The hotel is run down (see attached photo of vanity light).

My Diamond status wasn't useful. I typically use my F&B credit for breakfast, but the restaurant doesn't open until Lunch.
