It has been 10 years since we’ve cruises on Princess. Back then we used to bring a 6 pack of soda on board and keep them in our fridge.

we are traveling in a couple weeks with someone that just wants to bring a few cans on board to have available. Doesn’t want to purchase soda package since she doesn’t drink that much soda.

Are you still allows to bring on a small amount of Soda cans?

A small quantity per person is allowed as long as it is carried on. They consider a small amount to be up to 12 cans (12 oz) per person. No bottles. No 2 liter bottles. Now, these are the rules. Many people report complete apathy by port security and state that they have brought on soda in volume and containers that are outside the rules. I’m not recommending that. Just relaying what others have said. Again, you must carry it on, so logic dictates that there is only so much you can handle.

My husband made a trip to the store in Ft Lauderdale & brought back 8- 1 liter bottles.

No problem with security at all.

What Princess says on their website and how security does their job are two separate things.
