I am going on the Dawn in March and had a few questions

Has anyone tendered off the Dawn in a chair?

Can you roll on or do they have to lift you?

Are the gangways to shore managable without help?

We were on the Dawn this January. We did not tender at any port, but where told it depends on the sea if wheelchairs are accommodated. As for the gangways, however the angle of the grade, smiling strong staff took over the chair and got my guy off...........no problems.:D

 

Enjoy, we had a ball. The staff went out of their way to help us, when we needed it.

Are u in a HC cabin? Which ports are you headed for?

Yes we are in a WC room.

Me & my wife went on a cruise 15yrs ago on the Song of Norway.

Now that I am in a chair (14yrs) I thought this would be a great way to have a vacation. We are going to St. Thomas,Tortola,St. Martin, San Juan & their own island Great Strip Cayy ( I know this is a tender)

We are leaving for our 3rd cruise on the Dawn. The staff are anxious to help, especially on disembarking and embarking. Be sure to let them do the job, they are experienced in handling the w/c. I love the Dawn and have used the h/c cabin and suite. Save the money, the cabin is just a large as the suite.
