On Board Credit Question

When we booked our Alaska CruiseTour we received $50 pp of on board credit as part of their promotion.  We book a few shore excursions through Princess and the OBC's were used on one of them.  Now, due to the White Pass Railway change (which I don't believe Princess has even addressed) we decided to switch from the train/bus combo tour to a bus only one.  The new tour was $70 cheaper than what we booked previously.  Princess gave us a credit of $20 pp on our credit card and put the $50 OBC's back on our account.  I'd really rather have had them credit the full amount back to our credit card and use up the OBC's.  Is there a way for me to try to get that accomplished?

If the money was originally OBC then it will only be returned as OBC. One can't exchange OBC for cash.

I understand that.  I originally used the OBC to pay for a shore excursion.  I was hoping I could still do that.

Call Princess if you booked direct or ask your TA if it is possible to change the payment method.
