We have been to Bermuda twice before and have always used the ferry/public transit, however this time we will be travelling with our 2-year-old and will likely want more efficient and faster ways to get around. Does anyone know if we are able to take taxis without a car seat?

You don't need a car seat. Car seats are not required in taxis in Bermuda. Only private cars need them. Taxis are exempted. Also not all taxis have a way to secure them. Some travelers have  reported that if they brought a car seat the driver put it in the trunk. The minibuses that go to Horseshoe Bay also do not require car seats. From what I have observed if your toddler is in your lap the driver probably won't charge for the toddler.

Have fun Virginia mom!

I'm assuming you'll be bringing the toddle to Horseshoe Bay, specifically to the cove on the right, behind the concessions.  It's a calm, nice place for small children.
