Internet on board question

I tried to search on the forums but i didnt find any info about this.Can anyone please tell me whether i can upgrade my 300 minutes of internet ( upcoming 15 days cruise free at sea promo) to the social package on board? Can i also include my platinum internet as a discount on the package?I know i can upgrade to the unlimited package but the social is going to be perfect for me.

You should receive $150 toward an upgrade for your 300 minutes. There is no credit for the platinum minutes.

When you connect for the first time you are offered an upgrade.  It may not offer the social package, it may just be unlimited internet. If you wait until day 2 you then save that one day that needs to be purchased and still get the credit for the unused (if you never activated it) free plan.

Thank you both for your responses.I am aware of the 150 discount. Most probably i will find the answer when i board. If anybody is onboard currently and has more specific info please share it with us.

I have yet to see and read about applying or getting credit to upgrade using free minutes to change to a social media package cruising NCL. Best to speak and ask the iCafe manager onboard, such option is not offered online ahead of a booked cruise.
