difference between balcony and ss suite

We are sailing on the OOSterdam 10/7/06. Is there any other advanatage for booking an SS suite over a balcony except for SS being larger? I assume you don't get the same benefits as you would in a S. Is that correct?

You are correct. There are no additional benefits in an SS as there are with an S suite. However, the space is really a plus IMO. Not only is there more storage and room to move around the cabin, but the bathroom is wonderful. Two sinks. A separate shower stall in addition to the tub. And, of course, the verandah is larger. If you can swing the SS, I'd say go for it.
