Pre Covid I have donated two new books to the onboard Library , one on QM2 and another on the Q.Victoria, both were accepted , I shouldn't think you will have any problems.

Thank you Bell Boy.  While there is only the tiniest connection to Cunard (it is a biography and the subject did return from WWI on the Aquitania) I thought it might be a nice thing to do.

Is it possible to donate a (new) book (that I  have written) to the QM2 Library?  My initial thought is that this can't be done, but thought I'd ask! 🙂

Thanks!

Um… Is it published? Can I find it somewhere? Honestly, I’d love to read it.

ETA: Or I could pick it up on the QM2 library…

Tonopah, it is Parker Hitt: The Father of American Military Cryptology (University Press of Kentucky, 2022)

YAY! My library purchased this book! I am first in line to read it. I should add that I put in the purchase request and now lots of people will have access to your book. Can you tell I’m excited?

That is so incredibly kind of you, thank you.  I do hope you enjoy it.

Last few days if our NY-NY 23 nights onQM2, did donate the book but haven't yet seen it on the shelf,  hoping it will be there tomorrow.

Thanks again!

Home now and never did find the book on the shelf. However,  if anyone reading this is the first to spot it in the QM2 library and posts a picture of it there, I'll happily send you your own copy. 😀

I will be on the QM2 in November and will certainly look for the book.

Perhaps you didn’t find it because somebody had it out to read?

That could very well be.  I wasn't sure how long it took for the library to process a book and put it on the shelf.
