Laundrette on Silver Wind

Newbie to both SilverSea and CC 😟.

 

On Silver Wind, there is a laundrette forward midship of deck 4.  Is this the guest laundry, or part of the ship's major one?  Would it be noisy in the evening/night, say to a cabin on deck 5, above #421 in the diagram?  Assuming its the passenger laundry, would it have 'operating hours', or available 24/7?

The laundrette shown is for guests’ use and has never been a problem when we have been close by or above.  It will be closed overnight.

My family packs light so we choose cabins adjacent to launderette so we can easily do laundry a few times a week. There is only 1 washer and dryer per floor so it does get busy at times.

We love it as well! Really useful, especially for an expedition trip where thermals can get sweaty!! I don't know about non-expedition ships but on the Wind and Cloud I think there is only this one guest launderette. It has 3 washers and 3 dryers in. There is also a sink, various hanging racks, baskets etc. And washing capsules are provided.

if you put the washer on cotton, it takes over 2 hours to run the cycle.  Recommend another setting.
