We are scheduled to tender in Grand Cayman at 8:00 am. If our excursion time is also 8:00 am, how is this handled? Would the excursion time possibly be amended before sailing? Thanks!

Is it a ship excursion? Or is it a private one. Makes a huge difference as to the answers you’ll get. If it’s a ship excursion that’s the meeting time

on the ship.

If you are on a Celebrity Tour they often have a requirement to show up at theater at 8:00 and then they have separate tenders forward near the theater.  They will call your tour by number.

They will at the same time have General Tendering starting at approx 8:15.  If you have a private tour this could be problematic.     Suites, Aqua and many levels of CC have priority tendering and will direct you to meeting locations where they will escort you to a tender.

Grand Cayman is an hour behind Eastern time.  We were just there and our scheduled time to dock was 8:00AM ship time which was actually 7:00 AM local time (non Celebrity ship).

Haven't been on Celebrity for a few years now so I forget if they keep ET as the ship time.

Celebrity keeps on local time (except for one time out of 25 where that particular Celebrity Captain kept ship time)

Celebrity usual uses local time and sycs the ship to that time,   Earlier this month we stopped in St John's which has a 30 minute time zone shift.   The captain decided to stay on ship time.   It was funny as most couples had one watch on each times zone and kept saying my or your time.

Private Tours of course were on Newfound and Labrador time.

On our tour I said we need to line up and Iain said I'm not standing on line for 30 minutes... an ah ha moment followed when I pointed to my watch.
