Luggage drop off early?

Apologies if this is a dumb question. Is it possible to drop off our bags an hour before our assigned boarding time? We are embarking in Vancouver.

As soon as the porters are available you can drop off luggage the. Go about an enjoy your day in port.

Just make sure that you know what time you need to be back before they close the terminal doors and  the gangway is pulled.

 

During the 2021 season there was a young family that dropped off their luggage early with the porters, left Pier 91 to sightsee and then arrived back at the Seattle terminal shortly after the doors were closed.  They mistakenly believed that they just had to be back before the 4 pm sail away.  Not only did they still needed to be checked-in,  but their unvaccinated child also needed to be tested.  It was too late to to get them on the ship, and too late to retrieve retrieve their luggage from the ship.  Unfortunately, the luggage sailed, but the young family did not.
