ksmcdonald Posted October 13, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2022 My husband and I just got off the Mardi Gras a couple weeks ago. We were on it during hurricane Fiona and hurricane Ian. Fortunately, our captain kept us far away from the storms and we had beautiful weather. My only complaint was we had an inside Havana cabin, as we booked late and no cabanas were available. (We have previously stayed in a Havana Cabana balcony on the Horizon and Vista.). The Havana area is very different on the Mardi Gras compared to the Vista/Horizon. No hot tubs, no gazebo with benches and wading water. The only perk we had for our inside cabin was a small pool tucked in the corner. Then they closed the pool for maintenance on the 2nd day, and opened it back up on the last day. I felt we paid $400/extra for no perks at all. At least the balcony cabana people still got their private balcony. We would of been better off in a regular inside cabin and saved some money! They did give us $50 OBC, but the whole cabana area was a huge disappointment.

You are thinking about the infinity pool in Loft 19.
Islandhop9 Posted October 13, 2022 #4 Share Posted October 13, 2022 I hope the Havana pool is working for our cruise next month. I'd be unhappy as well given that is the only pool for the Havana area on MG. Seems like they could have given you access to the other private pool area those days.

I notice it was down must of the cruise and watched them working on it all week.
