They give a military discount.

They do but not on every cruise. Also you have to provide a copy of your DD 214.

It’s a percentage off but not always the same. I have never seen an onboard credit for military. If you go and do a mock booking on a cruise you like you will see the military  rate if there is one for that cruise.

The offers for military are few and far between, but it’s worth checking.  If there is an offer, it may or may not include OBC.

The military rate is usually not the best offer available.  When you do a mock booking, you can select to include the military rate and compare it to all the other rates available under your VIFP number.

Very often the military rate is early saver.

Sometimes I use the Military Discount because it is the Early Saver rate without the restrictions that Early Saver has.  That said it is not always the best rate.
