Day 3 Garden Cafe

NCL WINS !  Windjammer just can NOT compare.  I am not loyal to one line … I call it as I see it.  Every line has its good and bad… but Windjammer just can’t compare to Garden Cafe. I am always impressed at the number of pudding/jello/mousse the Windjammer and come up with instead of a good selection of cakes and custard.  Also the lack of ice cream station is shocking at the Windjammer.

Day 3

Production Show

This is where Royal does it so much better.  The entertain they provide onboard is out of this world.  Yes the production on NCL is great but nothing like Royal’s.  Their headliner act is good but not great.  Kind of cheesy and kind of like the shows you find at a off strip casino in Vegas on a week night.

Day 4

Off to Malta I go on a ship tour… panoramic tour with one stop and two photo stops.

Is the dock close enough to walk to the old town (if not doing a ship tour)? Shuttles provided or public transport available?  Malta is a port we'd like to visit by ship to determine if a longer land trip would be to our liking.

Welcome back to NCL. What a beautiful cruise you are on. Blue skies, sunshine, and short sleeves -- in November -- unlike dark and stormy Fort Myers Florida where the wind is blowing and we are under a hurricane watch again. But next year as booked I'll be strolling the back streets of Corfu and Valletta on my Breakaway cruise, far away from the trauma we've experienced here. I so much appreciate all your photos allowing me to daydream. And to virtually taste the food too.

Valletta is one of the most spectacular harbors in the world. And what beautiful weather for your visit!

I agree. It’s one of my favourites. And the weather is unbelievable for this time of year.

It depends on how mobile you are. It's a bit of a hike and it's uphill but there's a lift that takes you up to the top that's pretty close to the dock and avoids the uphill slog. There is a cost but I seem to remember it being not very much, although this was a few years ago.

I would actually like to do a land trip there myself.

Yes you can walk to the old town in Malta 🇲🇹 but it does not look like there is a lot to see / do there.

Thanks for coming along.  Love the weather and every where I stopped the guide was telling everyone how lucky we were with the weather.  There were a few missed stops last week at Malta due to the weather.
