Prepaid Gratuities

We have prepaid gratuities.    Who gets these prepaid gratuities, besides your room steward and the MDR wait staff?  If you never eat in the MDR, would other dining room employees get part of that tip?

 

If you buy a 3 night dining package, does the price include a tip, or do they add it on when you dine?

 

I appreciate your help.  It has been a few years since we have cruised and I know things have changed.

Gratuities are included in all dining packages that are purchased via Cruise Planner. Dining packages purchased onboard will have an 18% gratuity added to the purchase price.

a portion goes to the behind the scenes staff.  People that do things such as laundry, maintenance, and other things that you never see.
