We were trying to book a balcony  handicap cabin on the Oct 29 ,2023  Trans Atlantic  sailing to FT Lauderdale from Barcelona  .Was surprised to learn that no handicap   balcony  cabins   were available  . So we will keep our eyes glued for the 2024    TA releases to get a handicap cabin  early  .

We intended to fly business class into Barcelona from San Diego our home airport   . We got a very good price ,using  Delta airlines to Atlanta & then  air France  to Barcelona  .We also would spend a week before the cruise date in Barcelona & neighboring  France

I'm not surprised. I'd be willing to bet that transatlantic sailings have more people over the age of 65 than other sailings, which significantly increases the number of people on the ship in wheelchairs or with other mobility issues that make a handicapped room more comfortable for them.
