Martini Flight Questions

Happy New Year! I am considering purchasing a martini flight pre-cruise. Can anyone tell me if you can order (and consume) the flight anytime the martini bar is open or is it only available at a set time? We were on the Millenium a few months ago and had to go to the bar at a set time (which was given to us on board) but I believe that was for a martini class, not the flight. Also, is it okay to share one flight between two people?

You can get a flight anytime.  The flight is not included in any beverage package so you pay the full price + gratuity.  You can share it with anyone you want unlike drinks with the beverage package.

I just did them on the Apex, yes to both your questions, however, it seems rather difficult to get at a time that is very crowded.  It’s a bit of a production. Our cabin was on a list they had behind the bar, I would guess there was less than 20 on a fully booked ship.

I did purchase the martini flight pre-cruise. However, it turned out that I had to participate at a set time (3:00 pm on a sea day). I enjoyed but probably wouldn’t do again given that the time isn’t flexible.

You can get the Martini flight any time, but be advised, it does take some work and may put two bartenders out of commission for about 20 minutes.  I ordered one for myself and one for Priscilla.  It was very impressive to see 12 martinis poured at once!
