Having toured the Dutch side before, when I’m there on a cruise stop in February, I just want to see Marigot for a few hours, lunch and back to the port. Will it be easy to get a taxi? Should I try and book in advance or just get a taxi that day? Thank for any advice.

Plenty of taxis at port

Work on $50/60 each way.
If you wish to explore the markets, asked to be dropped there.

Restaurants can get busy, best to book in advance, suggest La Villa for a shabby chic dining experience with an excellent set Menu (one can upgrade a course if wished).  Do book early.

PS: work on 45 minutes there, but for peace of mind allow 60 + minutes return, as traffic can be appalling heavy when multiple ships are in port.
