Hi I want to go on a Cunard trip this summer I am unsure if their insurance will cover my concern

I have 2 potential issues

1.my mom is elderly and lives with me

we have an aid that agrees to cover her 24 day for whole trip but what happens if she can’t or if mom becomes ill

2..My daughter is trying to get pregnant and if she does she may have problems due to her potential high risk problems and may give birth in September but maybe would have earlier births

cruise goes from 8/25-9/1

sorry I feel like I am over concerned

I would love to go but I want a good insurance and not sure Cunard coverage is that good

Sounds like you need to speak to a broker who can help you find a policy that may help alleviate your concerns.

Steve, from TripInsuranceStore.com has been in the business for many years. In fact, he helps answer many questions here on CruiseCritic on the Insurance board. You can call them. Their phone number is in this link.

You might also want to post on https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/499-cruisetravel-insurance/

And read some of the posts there, for background.

However, the bottom line will probably be the many recommendations that you do exactly what klfrodo recommends...

CALL TripInsuranceStore.com and explain all of your concerns (above and anything else), and they'll help you find the the best possible policy.

It is very likely to be *much* better than the cruise insurance of any cruiseline.

It may cost more (very likely), but the coverage is better and the claim would be paid in cash, not in some "cruise credit" with a deadline.

Hope all goes well for everyone!

You want insurance to cancel the trip should you need to stay home with Mom or daughter.    The advice given above is very good.  It is important that you speak with the broker prior to making any deposit on the trip.  If you already made a deposit, call them right away.
