La Quintas Airport East Miami?

Looking for a simple clean and safe hotel to stay at pre-cruise.   Looking at La Quintas Airport East in Miami.   I have never stayed at a La Quintas, it has mixed reviews but the price is right.    Anyone here stayed recently?   Thoughts?   Again just looking for safe and clean.

Arriving late into MIA and just want a bed for the night?  Have never stayed there, but it is often suggested on this board as a budget option near MIA.  Fairly isolated, so plan on pizza or Chinese delivery for dinner (or walk over to the Embassy Suites where dinner will cost approximately the same as your room rate at the La Quinta).

Thank you John,    As long as it is safe and clean we are good.   We have a rental car and plan on staying here 2 nights before we move to the port area and don't plan on sticking around the hotel through the day just somewhere to sleep and park the car at night.

I always use caution for any hotel under 4 stars on TripAdvisor. Reviews seem mixed, but not terrible. The location is fine. Certainly much better spots in Miami, but if your goal is low cost and you have a car, it will do. 

 

No idea if it is clean, that is what reviews are for.
