JohnQ Posted January 20, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2023 We are cruising from Auckland down around to Tasmania and back up to Sidney in late March-Early April and trying to figure out how hot or cold we can expect it to be? Taking light rainproof jacket and at least a couple of henley long sleeves. Are we good? Need a heavier jacket? We know how to layer. We’ve seen lots of reports on cold weather and high winds, missed ports, and this is summer!
SinbadThePorter Posted January 20, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2023 Prepare for the worst, be pleasantly surprised when it doesn't happen.
Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted January 20, 2023 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2023 In 2019 it was great weather! Who knows what it will be like this year. I'd add a light fleece or jumper, plus a warm hat, scarf and gloves. It can get chilly first thing in the morning doing the Fiordland scenic cruising and it's best to be outside for that.
LittleFish1976 Posted January 20, 2023 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2023 It spelt 'Sydney' by the way. Pack a short puffer jacket or a fleece and you'll be okay.
