It is very easy to get to the Antarctica ship.  Fly Perth-Sydney, Sydney-Santiago.  Silversea takes you from there.

The cruise we booked meant we would be flying via Sydney during their New Year period, and it was almost 'impossible' to get flights.  This was for 2021.

My cruise boards mid December and finishes on January 5th.  I’ve booked an around-the-world fare, which was easier and cheaper than a return trip. Go figure?

@AusMum Happy to update you after our Arctic cruise in June, 2023. While we will have dress clothes since we are taking the QM2 transatlantic home, I do not anticipate wearing them in the Arctic.
