Flying into Daytona Beach Airport

Has anyone flown into the Daytona Beach Airport for Port Canaveral cruises?  We have rented a car for the day we arrive so we can get all 4 of us and our luggage, to the hotel and terminal.  We will probably do that for our return.  Just wondering if anyone has flown into here before and what your experience was?

DAB isn't really any closer to Port Canaveral than MCO and certainly not as close as MLB. MCO usually has cheaper fares than DAB too. But if it works for you, then you shouldn't experience any problems. It's close to I-95 so it shouldn't take but a few minutes to depart the airport and hit the road. Enjoy!
