Port or Starboard for Canary Island cruise

Seriously looking at taking a Canary Island cruise on Anthem of the seas.  Looking for info on which side of the ship is best for viewing the ports when in port.

Pretty sure it will vary (like any other location).  The ship could dock on either side in a given week.

I was hoping for a preference, such as Puerto Vallarta, have been there four times with Princess and each time the ship has backed in with port side facing the shore.

Ship can dock either way. The CI are particularly scenic ports imho….

This is not like in the Caribbean were same ships dock every week in the same ports. Some ports will be starboard and some will be port.

In Lanzarote we docked on the other side of the harbour to expected which made our planned walk into town impossible.
