What is the approximate self assist departure time at Vancouver Cruise Port?

Last September, we disembarked from the Grand. The earliest time was 7:30 am and we met in the Crown Grill. Of course, we had all of our luggage. Shortly after 7:30 am, we were allowed to leave. It was very easy to get a cab to the parking lot where we had parked our car.

As long as by 'self assist' you mean 'no assistance required, carry my own bags off' you can almost certainly still be among the first few hundred people in the pier building even with 3 ships IF they all arrive about the same time. We always do self-disembark and my wife's been at work downtown by 8am every time.  CBSA only arrive at the pier at 7, so no matter how early your ship you won't get off earlier than ~7:30am - if you're literally the first person off you could be on the curb by 7:40am easily, unless CBSA want to have a chat!

Personally I'd check the contract with the private hire - if you have an included period of 'free' wait time, say 30mins, then book for 7:45am if your ships arrives at 7 or earlier. If any delay immediately triggers a fee though, play it safe and pad the pickup time - an hour after arrival should be a safe bet.
