Eurodam Dress-up / Formal nights

On Eurodam's 1/25-2/5 11-Day Panama Canal Sunfarer cruise there were 2 "Dressy" nights. They were on the first sea day (day after Half Moon Cay) and the next to last sea day (day after Costa Rica).

The dress requirement applies only to the MDR and Specialty restaurants. Although some men will wear suits or even tuxedos, many wear a sports jacket, and many will just add a tie to the required collared shirt. Some will not go beyond the collared shirt and slacks requirement. Women usually wear slacks or skirts with a dressy top or cocktail dresses; a few wear long gowns.

Wear what is comfortable for you and you have luggage space for.

We were surprised how many still dress up for Dressy Night on our recent Christmas New Years HAL cruise, after seeing this event get down-graded for so long. It was indeed a very festive night.

I think people dress up more for holiday cruises. It's a great opportunity to have a family picture taken when everyone looks so nice.
