Norwegian Prima : how to have a good time in the haven without getting nickel and dimed.

Not sure I understand? You are booked in the haven, so not much to nickel and dime you about? You will have to pay to race the go-carts or play darts or if you want some really expensive whiskey or wine? But you can eat in the haven dining room the whole time if you want, or change it up and go to the Local or Indulge for free too and have some really good meals. No need for vibe passes, you have the haven sun deck area, and while much smaller than the thermal suite the haven sun deck area does have its own sauna. Go and have a great cruise!

Hmmmm,,,, First and foremost, don't believe everything you read on the internet. We sail on NCL and Royal Caribbean a total of 6-7 times a year and they are both the same. There are opportunities to spend extra money, but we don't.

We have sailed on the Prima twice (not in the Haven) and have not spent a nickel or dime to "have a decent cruise". Our final room bill was about 1/2 a page with a few misc purchases below.

We had a chunk of OBC,,, so the gift shops were the benefactor of a lot of that. While we ate at the Hudson MDR and Commadore MDR and really enjoyed the new fixed menu, we spent some OBC to purchase a few extra nights of Specialty Dining (to support our live post....). And we bought a Thermal Suite pass (for live posting purposes only). But none of it was "necessary" for the cruise and we didn't go off and spend real money.
