National Park Pass

Read somewhere to bring my National Park Pass with me on my cruise.

Where would I use it?  I know Alaska has quite a few national parks but are they near a cruise port?

You would use your park pass at Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau for entrance to the visitor’s center and to access those trails that require a pass to hike.

The Southeast Alaska Discovery Center in Ketchikan took our Senior pass for admission to the museum and provided access to their Wi-Fi.

Just turned 62, can I buy my park pass at either of these locations? Or should I buy in advance?

Also good at the visitor's center at Totem Park in Sitka

To simply things, I'd buy in advance.

But, since it's good for just one year from purchase, buy at the beginning of the month that you'll be cruising.

I think the Senior Pass, which you can buy at 62, is good for the rest of your life, or until you lose it and have to buy another one 😆
