How do I get shipboard credit with princess/Barclays visa

For years I was always able to get shipboard credit easily with my visa.  I went online to get some shipboard credit, but the site has changed.  Any ideas are welcomed.  Altho we purchased princess plus which includes drinks and gratuities, we always used shipboard credits for e cursions, specialty dining and in the casino.

thanks for any help

I just went to the site and I don’t think you can request OBC ahead of time anymore. It looks now that the option is requesting a statement credit. Charge on the ship or for your fare and request a statement credit for those charges.

I did the OBC in the past so this is definitely a change

I cashed in points last May for $1000 worth of gift cards to use for our Alaskan cruise &land cruise.   I could not get them to apply.    I called Barclays several times and no one could help me.   I am out $1000 and getting very upset.   There is no record of them being in my account.    ANy suggestions.

I haven't done this in quite a while but ...  If you did an on board credit, it doesn't show anywhere.  But it showed up onboard in our account.  I took a copy of the redemption email just in case.

Thanks for the help.   Where do you find "On board reservations" ?    I asked under Help and no results came up.

After you log on, click on "Rewards & Benefits Center" under where it shows your # of points.  Then click on "Redeem my points" on the right side of the screen.  Then you'll see the picture I posted above.  Click on "Onboard Gifts" in the blue line at the top of the screen.  Then click on "Spa Visits and Onboard Credits".   You'll see 4 OBC amounts to choose from: $50 for 5,000 points, $100 for 10,000 points, $250 for 25,000 points and $500 for 50,00 points.

Have a good cruise!

I just found the Princess Gift Cards on the Barclays redemption site, so thank you, @compozer for helping me to learn something new.👍🏻

I simply cash in my rewards and put it against my cruise balance. We have the premier package on our next cruise.  We don't need any more onboard credit. Plus we have enough points to pay for one of us.

I did not find anything under the spa visits and onboard credits    BUT

I did find it under view rewards activities.   It listed the last four months -  nothing about my $1000 but then I clicked on  Rewards redemption history.   Then details.    It asked:  "confirm your identity"   and I received an email with a code.    I entered the code number and there they were!!!!   They are 10 digital cards for $100 each.

Now I just need to figure out how to get them to my TA to put towards my cruise fare-  I don't want obc.  Thanks again everyone.
