What is the earliest that one can send this info?  I would love to book shore excursions now for our Sept cruise.

You can send it in now. I sent mine in already for 2 cruises in November and the credit was posted for both the day I submitted my requests.

Fidelity

Mine is in a Fidelity account but my statement has my name at the top of every page. I black out the acct number, write the other info directly on the single page showing CCL, and fax it

Any idea if we have two cabins....one under my wife and one for myself....Would we need to own 200 shares in order to get $100 per cabin for or 7 day cruise?

No you only need to own 100 shares. We do this when we take my in laws on a cruise. We send the requests a couple days apart just so the person doing the OBC doesn't think it's a duplicate request for the same cabin.

About the "real money" part or the "police it" part?

The "real money". They hate to see people not spend it on the ship.

We occasionally do indulge but most times we just remove it.

I don't view the OBC as money to be spent. It's real dollars to me & I treat it as such. Why but something for the heck of it just to spend it?

I don't do it at home so why do it on the ship?

Isn't the shareholder's benefit non-refundable, use it or lose it?  Not trying to join a debate... this is a serious question.  If it is refundable, I'd prefer to do that.  🙂  (Sorry if I missed part of the context here.  It has been a day or two since I read all the previous posts.)

When you do this is the CCL stock in both your names?  We are a family of 5, which will require 2 cabins.  CCL stock is just in hubby's name.  I'm wondering if we can get OBC on both cabins.

Yes our CCL stock is in both our names.  If the CCL stock is just in your hubby's name only the cabin he is in will get the OBC.

Thanks.  That is what I assumed.  I guess hubby needs to add my name to that account.  🙂

What do you mean by "we just remove it"?

I can’t believe it!  I emailed my shareholder OBC form this afternoon and it showed up on my booking within 30 minutes…they even sent me a new booking confirmation with the OBC line itemized…could Princess be upping their customer service?

I sent it in two days ago but haven't received anything yet other than an automatic reply saying that it might take them 21 days to get back to me.

That was my plan, too…unless my hubby decides last minute that he will drink enough to warrant purchasing Princess Plus for the two of us. 😉

I consider that a total waste of money.

Enjoy.

I agree.  I doubt I'll drink 15 drinks the entire cruise, much less each day.  I'm just waiting for my husband to insist he needs internet to keep up with work.  If you purchase internet, then the package looks favorable.

We have one more cruise with the plus package and that's it for us. We once though it was a good deal but after trying it a number of times have come to realize that we just succumbed to the advertising & people posting how great it is.

It's a struggle to get to 15 drinks a day and having the unlimited internet is no bargain since 99% of our emails are junk anyway and we can live without streaming programs.

Even at the current $60, once you subtract out the gratuities, it is only 3 decent glasses of red wine (or other adult libation) a day to break even (without considering any of the other inclusions). So for those who do not have elite status perks it is a pretty good deal. The 2 bottles of wine you can bring on don't go very far on a 1 night cruise, much less 7 or more nights. As a working stiff, I rarely drink during the week, but a few drinks with dinner out and a few more when I get home on the weekends is easy to do.

On Vacation? 4-6 glasses of wine between pre-dinner at 5-6 pm and midnight is easy to do. No driving involved 🤪.

All depends....I wont be drinking 4 glasses of wine the entire cruise, let alone 4 per day!  Works for many.....not so much for others. Worked for us at $40/day, we kept it at $50/day. Back to pay as we go at $60/day.

Let me say that we use Rum Runners which gives us practically all we need for a 10 day cruise and we restock up on turnaround day. Mixers are free at the buffet & we keep them in the fridge. Wine is also refillable every turnaround and also at just about every port we stop at as is liquor is needed.

We hardly drink as much as you do usually only a glass of wine at dinner & a mixed drink for the show- never 4 or more glasses with a meal or we would be asleep before 9 PM at our age.

Sounds like the package was made for you but $1,200 for a 10 day cruise is quite a bit for us.

So each co-owner (in 2 different cabins) emails the details separately?  My spouse and I are in different cabins with our minor children.
