4th of July in St. Thomas

Hi there...I will be on the Caribbeen Princess and we will be in port at St. Thomas on 4th of July, does any know if we will be able to see any kind of fireworks from the ship that day.  Think it would so fun to watch from the ship.

We were there in the past but our ship always left at 6PM..

Maybe you can look on there website to days or evening activities on the 4th.

What time does the ship leave?  Also what time is astronomical sunset?  Not the sunset when the sun dips below the horizon but true astronomical sunset.

If there are fireworks they will probably be offered off the coast of St John, and they usually start around 8. You can't see St John from either of the cruise ship docks.
