Loteria Gigante - Prizes?

I read about the tequila, etc for Loteria Gigante.  What are the prizes?  Or is this an event more for fun?

 

Deciding on doing that and/or Diva bingo.

Can't speak to Loteria Gigante, but Bingo with the Diva was a lot of fun.  The prizes on our cruise ranged from $450 to $1800.

Our Loteria game awarded prizes of $10 or less - branded merch or games that you could find onboard. Everyone walked away with something, though - I got branded sunglasses and my wife a branded aluminum straw. Definitely an event more for fun than amazing prizes. We also got 5 drinks by the end of it, so I guess there’s that, too (a cocktail before each or the three rounds, plus a shot of tequila and mezcal each while playing).

Loteria is a Mexican card game similar to bingo https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotería

 

on the ship the activity is $35 and comes with drinks as above.

I would suggest doing both.  This week Bingo had prizes over $2800.  Loteria is more for fun, and includes a good amount of alcohol for the money.  The prizes are knick-knacks.
