My brain....the deck plan shows the spa forward, I KNOW there is a forward part of one of the decks that is mainly accessed by a stairwell from another one....is this it?

Yes.  In front of the spa.  Used to be a Suites and Pinnacle deck on some in this class.

Looks like you are approaching one of the few visible remains of the French effort.  On the starboard side is the channel the French dug to connect to the Chagres River.
