Does anyone one know what the following casino codes mean?

Cadino Freeplay (redeem casino)

casino freeplay - CBS

casino freeplay (vip)

Casino freeplay means that when booked using this offer you will receive the specified amount of free play to redeem in the casino.  You can go to the casino cage and specify if you want to use it at the slot machines or at the tables.

Casino free play - CBS relates to an offer that you receive from the casino at the end of a cruise.  These are the letters that you find in your cabin on the last day of the cruise.  Usually these have to be booked within 45 days and there will be specific regions and timing listed on the offer in terms of which cruises you can book under the offer.

Casino freeplay (vip) means that you must book a VIP cruise to earn this perk.  There are usually more than half a dozen specified VIP cruises held in a year and these are usually listed in mailers or emails that the Princess Players Club sends.  There will be gifts and events during these VIP cruises as well.

@azbirdmom We received a certificate in our cabin for free play.  Does my TA have to book the cruise through the Players Club (PC) department or can we just book it as a normal booking.  I know the certificate mentions select locations on it, just didn't know if we had to go through PC or regular booking giving the offer code to the Princess representative who answers the phone.

It should have verbiage on the offer letter indicating how it can be booked.  For example the CBS letter that I received at the end of a cruise last December was for a free cabin and free play.  It stated "you or your travel agent should call XXXXX...to book".  In the past I've always gone through my TA for free play only offers.  I would scan the offer letter and send it to her to ensure that she had the right codes and other information to ensure that the free play would be included on the booking.  I book the ones involving a free cabin direct mainly to save my TA the headaches associated with dealing with the casino reservations area.

Thanks for the reply.  There is an offer code on my letter and I can provide that to the TA,  I was wondering if I could preview the cabin selections prior to calling my TA to see if there is anything worthwhile for us to book.  We are not at the level for a "free cabin" just free play.

Yes, you should be able to preview what is available for your desired cruise and you shouldn't be limited in cabin selection.  By the way if she is willing to model out pricing have her check what it would be using the code "CASINO".  That used to be the magic word that unlocked cruise discounts but I'm not sure if it works any longer.
