What are the best places to eat on depart day?

 

Can you make reservations for the roller coaster with the Carnival app? Is this only available when the cruise starts?

 

What are the current shows?

 

What nights are elegant nights for the current eastern Caribbean cruise itinerary and are lobster tails offered both elegant nights in the main dining room?

 

For the elegant nights, are guys allowed in khakis and button up shirts? (Trying to avoid suit/tux)

 

If anyone has current Funtimes saved, please post them.

Yes, you can reserve a spot for the roller coaster on the Hub app. I'm not sure how long the reservation window is open, but you might as well do it earlier rather than later in case all the time slots are filled up.

 

Khakis and button up would be fine for elegant night.

Elegant nights will be (assuming it's a 6+ day itinerary) the second night and the second to last night.  Lobster will only be served on the second elegant night.

 

Khakis and button ups are more than fine for elegant night, making you one of the best dressed (although there are still some who go all out - and I enjoy seeing them, just not being them).

Best place to eat on embarkation day is Big Chicken.  Also the best place on sea days for lunch is between 12 & 2 at Chibang or Cucina.  The broth bowls at Chibang are excellent.
