Hi

Can anyone tell me if the pools at Puerta Plata and La Romana are free to use or is there an entrance fee.

If free is there a charge for chairs, I know food and drink are extra.

Just had my tour in La Romana cancelled and now trying to make new plans. Leave in 5 weeks.

Thanks

From my research both pools are free including the lazy river in Puerta Plata.

Puerta Plata overall looks quite fun, in my opinion La Romana less so and I think we will take an excursion there.

I can't answer your specific question, but I can tell you that Puerto Plata and La Romana are on completely different sides of the island, so what is true for PP will have nothing to do with La Romana.

Is your ship stopping at both ports?

Thanks for the answers, yes we stop at both ports. Looks like an easy day.

Hi, can you explain what pools you are speaking of?  I haven't been to La Romana in years and never to Puerto Plata.  Thanks for any info!

There are new pools in both ports just outside the port area.

Both look nice and walking distance to ship.

In Puerto Plata in Taino bay, if it is your port, there are pools and even a lazy river. All "free" to use but buying a drink at the pool bar is suggested 😉
