Without WiFi, you will need to use cellular data. Check the email final documents you received a few weeks ago. There was a PDF of all excursions with times and details on mine last year. I saved the pdf file so I didn’t need data to access it. Good luck.

that worked @CDR2001

thanks so much!

I thought I had saved it to my Google Drive direct before the strip just in case I needed it

I did, but search did not find it it because it was only searching in the Google DOCS context

A PDF file is not a Google doc so search did not catch it

Thanks again.

I do the same downloading of important docs to both my phone and my tablet -- final e-docs, hotel reservations, flights, etc. They don't take up much space and at least for me, they are easier to access then fumbling around on the internet.

Definitely

The hard thing is remembering, in the moment, why Search isn’t finding the All Excursions doc even though I thought for sure that I had

1) saved it

2) made it available offline

maybe the answer is:

make a 1-sentence google Doc where it simply links to the PDF

Then goog Doc search will inherently remind me it’s there.

I have done this with my Google city maps with all my places of interest starred, but never thought to do it with these documents. I usually just bring print copies of the important papers. ( I know, so old-school, right? )

Sort of like a virtual post-it, right?
