CruiseNut24 Posted May 10, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2023 I know this is a long shot but has anyone recently taken the Alsakan cruise out of San Francisco. I am trying to identify which nights may be formal. I am looking to book a specialty restaurant but am trying not to make it on a formal night. That being said, anyone that has been on the cruise to Alaska out of San Fran and knows or remember which nights were formal? Even if you can only say the formal nights were sea days, that would help. Thank you in advance for any insight to formal nights.
suekel Posted May 10, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2023 Usually sea days. If you start with 2, it could be either of those days. Usually the 2nd to last day also unless the day before that is a sea day. You'd have to show your itinerary for anyone to say definitively.

You have two sea days at he start and two sea days at the end. Your formal nights are 99.99% going to be Night 2 and Night 9. Never will be Night 1 or Final Night.
