Wallace monument

Recommended Posts

It's tall and set on a hill, can clearly be seen from the architect-designed footbridge over the train station platforms, accessed from the smaller off the two station parking lots.

Or of course from Stirling Castle.

But it's less than 3 miles away, and well worth a visit (taxi rank at the station).

There's anything up to an hours-worth to see - whether you want to give it 10 minutes or 60 minutes or somewhere in-between depends how much the driver charges for waiting time or for coming back to you
