Cococay Thrill Waterpark Cabana

Recommended Posts

I understand this includes 6 passes to water park and the cabana is for 6. We have a group of 10. If we get a cabana (for 6), plus 4 additional water park tix, would the other 4 be able to access the cabana as well?  It's very unlikely that all 10 would be at the cabana at the same time.   I hope this makes sense, lol.

Also, current cabana is priced at $1380 and water park at $169. Are these prices somewhat normal, will they decrease/increase?  This is for a sailing in June 2024. TIA, enjoy.

You can have wild price swings either way. You can buy and then cancel/rebuy if the price goes down.

The cabana is for the allowed folks you designate as the users.

Thanks for info.  So with cabana, the additional 4 wouldn't be able to pop by cabana?  Tough doubtful there would be more then 3 or 4 at cabana at anytime

We had a water park cabana in April for our cruise on Harmony.  We had 6 guests, and were offered the opportunity to purchase wristbands for 2 additional guests ahead of time.  Just had to go to the Shore Excursion Desk to take car of the day prior.  We didn’t need 2 extra guests, but the opportunity was there.

Our cabin attendant was awesome, and was the one to check us off the list that morning upon arrival and put the wristbands on.  He got to know us by name and was by our cabana frequently for service, and would’ve definitely noticed additional guests showing up.

Good to know. We had a Waterpark Cabana last year (April) but there were only 6 of us. Next year (May) we'll be a group of 8. Now if the pricing would be comparable 🤪

I would book now so you don’t risk them selling out but definitely check back often as there are frequent “sales” especially around major holidays. Black Friday in particular usually has some pretty good deals. The cheapest I have seen the water park cabanas recently is $999 and passes $79 but varies by ship and sail date.

We were a party of 8 in February. Two of our family members came by to visit us and there was no problem  The cabana and all the services we had for the day was fantastic.  There is only enough seating for 6 but as long as the others in the group pay for the thrill water park there should not be a problem for a visitor to pass by.

Thanks for the info.   We're not trying to skirt the rules and this is exactly what I was looking for. The ones over and above the initial 6, would merely be popping by. Wasn't sure if the cabanas were in an area that required a special armband/pass to access that particular area. Thanks!

As long as you all have passes/wrist bands for the thrill park there should be no problem for the other 4 to stop by and visit. At least that's how it was in February,  but things can always change on RC.  Keep watching the prices; we bought ours on Black Friday in November.  Enjoy!!

Two other Water Park cabana questions: (1) How do you designate the people who are in your party?  We are traveling with another family, and want to mix people from each reservation in our 6 guests.  (2) If we chose to cancel the cabana reservation prior to the day of arrival, what's the last day on which you can cancel for a full refund?

Thanks!

Welcome to CC.

Most purchases should be cancelled at least 48 hours out.

You will be given a form once on board usually a day or two before arrival into Coco Cay. It will have you list the people that will be using the cabana, also it will have your cabana number. Once you check in at the Coco Cay cabana area they will (have your list) put wrist bands on each of you that must be worn.

You can cancel 48 hours prior to Coco Cay arrival. The refund price will be an OBC.

Thanks for the answers!

Enjoy the cabana. We have our 2nd one booked for May. For our extended family of 6 it was still a good deal.
