Sailing on Princess Emerald from NY in September. Has anyone taken the ships shuttle from the airport to the ship?

How often do they pickup?
If we arrive at the airport in the morning, how long would we wait.  Thanks for any information.

@shiny1

Thank you for your new thread on the Ask a Cruise Question forum. It is the forum for general questions regarding cruising. However, your thread is off topic there since your topic concerns a specific cruise line shuttle.

To help you out, your new thread has been moved to the Princess Cruises forum where it will be on topic. The majority of your fellow Cruise Critic members that have sailed on Emerald Princess frequent this forum and provide feedback here. Browse through the thread titles on this forum looking for threads of interest. You will probably find your fellow Cruise Critic members have already posted questions and received answers that may be of interest to you.

Also, I have edited your thread title to Princess Emerald CRUISE SHIP SHUTTLE. That way, your fellow Princess cruisers that have used the shuttle will be aware of your inquiry as they browse the thread titles in the forum.

Hope this will be helpful and glad to have you aboard Cruise Critic!

Happy sails,

Host Kat

It's Emerald Princess.

Airport transportation to the ship is based upon demand. They plan transportation based upon knowing when there will be people arriving. This can range from 30 or 40 people arriving in the next hour on various flights, which would require a bus, gathering all those people and their bags and getting them on the bus.  If you are the first they collect, you might have to wait an hour...if you are the last, you may not have to wait at all.

Or it could be 5 or 8 people arriving in a short time frame. They may have a van standing by, and it might take 30 minutes to round everyone up.

Or you might just be a couple. As soon as you collect your luggage, they put you in a cab, and off you go.

They are very good at this. Things usually go very well.
