During the day you should have no issues. At night it’s a different story. No matter what time of day you travel  by train in the Miami area, be aware of your surroundings

It is fairly easy. But IMO not worth the hassle. Depending on time of day you are talking about a 25-min $25-$35 uber ride or 45-60 mins to get on the train, off the train, over to the intermodal center in MIA etc.. To save $20.00 up to you.
