3 Days Coastal Vancouver - Seattle

I'm looking into this short trip for May 9 next year. My question is since the ship does not actually leave until 2 am next day, do they allow "late" embarkation until 7 or 8 pm?

Are you on a Royal Class ship (Discovery Princess or Majestic Princess)? If so, your ate departure is to catch low tide so that the ship can clear the Lion's Gate Bridge. I have done this on the Majestic and they kept everyone onboard so that there was no delay in leaving YVR.

It's on Majestic. So embarkation is set at regular 5 - 6 pm limit?

Your travel summary will. tell you the time. It;s a beautiful port, daytime or night.

Thats probably a question for a Princess representative.  I would call two or three times to get the correct answer (some newer reps won't know).  While they probably will depart later than usual, I wouldn't assume that they will allow boarding too much past the normal 4pm time.  Not sure how long the port will stay open for boarding operations.

The problem won't be Princess, but rather the local port people, particularly security and US Customs, who probably have no interest in waiting until later in the evening for a few people to check in.

I’d think it would be normal time embarkation. Even if the ship is scheduled to leave late, I have seen the time changed in Vancouver due to the tides.
