Scarlet Lady Repairs

I am sailing on Dominican Daze on August 18th, and just got an email from VV that the SL requires "extra maintenance" that would impact our arrival into Puerto Plata. So they are replacing Puerto Plata with Grand Turk (not upset about that at all :P)

 

I assume this means they need to do something while the ship is in Miami and we won't be leaving at 6pm, but is anyone aboard now or have any scuttlebutt as to what might be going on?

SL had a bit of a runin with the pier a couple of weeks ago. They might be putting on a more permanent patch.

Probably related to the pier incident as noted above.  She's headed into her first scheduled dry dock next year so she's due to have everything updated.

Good attitude on your part. Grand Turk over Puerto Plata sounds like an upgrade 🙂
