Scooter on ship

We are leaving on a cruise on Seascape on Sunday.  My husband is scheduled to have a hip replacement and has difficulty walking.  His pain became a lot worse well after we booked the cruise.  Does anyone know how difficult it would be to get around the ship, including the casino on a scooter?  Or would it be better to use a walker.  I have been having a lot of trouble reaching anyone at MSC.

Thanks for any information!

Easy, but you have to be able to fit it through a 22” cabin door if you don’t have a HC cabin. And if you can get through the door that’s as far as you will get if your bed is by the bath. You can’t leave it in the hall, plus no way to charge it in hall. EM

We rented a scooter that is supposed to be delivered to our cabin on embarkation day.

I was told by MSC that we will have a wide door because we booked in the Yacht club.

Thanks for all you replies.

Someone correct this old gal's memory, but the YC doors are the same size as regular doors (??) unless you are in a Handicapped Cabin in the yacht club.
