Administration fee to change to select dining

Hoping someone can give ne a bit of clarity here, thank you in advance.

 

I have just spoken to customer services to change our dining from traditional at set time of 2030hrs to select dining. The agent informed me the charge is £35 each administration fee. 🙄 we are first time cruisers and have spent a lot of money on this cruise and I think its a tad petty, but is the agent correct ? They also said we can go into any of the main dining rooms at 2030hrs without booking...again is that correct ?

Select dining is a Celebrity term.  If so, they can change dining category onboard without charge.  EM
