Royal P dinner assignment made onboard, where do we go to set this up?

Hello,

We are sailing on Royal Princess Aug 26. Our traveling companions have mobility issues, so I want to make reservations for a main dining room near the panoramic lifts at 5 pm each night, same table for 4, same waitstaff.

I have tried to do this online over months, but it has not been successful/possible.

I would love your advice on where to go once we get onboard to set up this arrangement. I expect the matre'd or other people who do this are not in every dining room. I would love to save time searching onboard by knowing what dining room or restaurant prices is set up in to do it on Royal Princess.

Thank you for your help!

go to the dining room that is open for lunch on embarkation day & ask for help there, they should be able to assist you...I have never sailed on the Royal so I don't know which one it would be (if the staff tell you only the buffet is open, look in the Patter, which is now called something else or on your app)...an alternate, but maybe not as good, choice would be to go to one of the specialty dining locations & ask there...

@moonjelly Ask to speak to Claudio Guiliani, the Director of Restaurant Operations. If he is on board at the time of your sailing, he will look after you very well. He is that good! IMHO

Enjoy your trip. If he is there, you are in good hands. Bon voyage!

As you have already discovered...and others have shared, you cannot make a "full cruise" dinner reservation for the same table on line at this time.  Your best bet will be to go ahead and make those reservations for your choice of dining room and time yourself using the "normal" system.  Then, once on board (best done the first day) go and see the DR manager or person at the restaurant and explain what you want to do.  *Most* people have reported that they were successful in doing this.  Good luck!
