Beware When Making Changes to Reservations Booked with AI after 10/3

By now we've all heard that bookings made with AI after 10/3 will no longer include gratuities. Our TA today posted on the social media site we can't mention that although bookings with AI made prior to that date will be grandfathered in, any changes made to those bookings after 10/4 will result in the loss of the gratuities. Upgrades, rate adjustments, etc. will result in the booking being adjusted to the new AI and the loss of the pre-paid gratuities. Just a note to self that if bidding on a MoveUP your bid will now be increased by the amount of the gratuities in addition to your bid.

Two TAs have reported that the gratuity is not removed on a successful Move Up bid. This is on another thread on the topic.

Which thread? The post from my TA said upgrades made after 10/4 the AI would revert to the new AI package (which isn't at all AI).
