Sardinia with P&O Azura

Does anyone know if there’s a shuttle bus from the ship to Cagliari. Walking into town won’t be an option. We are restricted to shore excursions which are not too strenuous and none of the tours offered by P&O are of interest except one which is sold out. Thanks in advance for any info.

Yes there is a shuttle, it takes you from the ship to the main street just outside the port.

Cagliari is a working port so shuttle is needed the drop off point is now next to the small security check point.

So it doesn’t take you into town then. Are taxis available as hubbie is not very mobile at the moment.

I don't remember seeing many taxis since its about a 5-10minute walk. A information desk is just next the the terminal they will be able to assist. Bare in mind they don't mind showing you where to go on the map but then ask for a fee to give you the map.

Only a short walk across the road and you are on the sea front with shops, cafes, etc. The main part of the town is quite hilly.

Sounds good. Short walks with lots of breaks to sit down. Looks like lots of coffee shops and ice cream. We’ll avoid the hills.
