How good is premium wifi on the Reflection

I apologize in advance if this topic has been discussed before but how good is the premium wifi on the Reflection? Will I be able to stream movies and use FaceTime?

If you have the streaming package it is good for face time and Netflix....no pirate links they will block you from opening .  it is slower and bit choppy at times when the ship is full ...like sea days, but still functional.  I has improved quite a bit over the last 5 years it has gotten faster....If your a gamer I would say do bother

I think it will be dependent on expectations.    It is definitely good enough to usually have a Zoom call, send large emails and photos and do your mail. 

 

For me Starlink is pretty solid and has the capabilities of much faster internet on ships.   I was on Solstice the day the brought it live and was getting 100 up and 100 down.   Shortly after that they have capped the speeds to about 5 down and 3 Up.   I've had no problems uploading my photo extensive live posts with no problems.

 

I recently did a Caribbean, TransAtlantic followed by a UK set of cruises.    Once in awhile I would get an internet drop when they were shifting between satellites but beyond that it was solid.

 

Speeds will be affected by location of the AccessPoint in the hallway to your room.

On the TA with basic it was a bit slow downloading all of your pictures 🤣

We had then Premium and FaceTime was inconsistent.  At times, it worked fine.  At others, you could hear the audio but no visual on the other end.  Can be frustrating.  Just go in with low expectations and you won't be disappointed.
